Site in the sidebar is where the facts about your business live: trading name, tagline, phone, email, opening hours, the areas you cover. Your website reads all of it from here — change it once and it changes everywhere it appears.
Step by step
- Open Site.
- Edit what’s changed — new number, longer hours, an extra town on the patch.
- Save. Saving stores the change in the portal.
- When you’re done tinkering, publish to push the update to your live website.
What lives here vs. Site content
Rule of thumb: facts live here, words live in Site content. If it’s your phone number or your hours, it’s this page. If it’s the paragraph on your homepage about why customers should trust you, that’s content.
Tip: changed your number? Do it here the same day. A website with a dead phone number is worse than no website.
